Getting free training to help prevent Heroin & Opioid overdoses:
The Prevention Council has teamed up with Project Safe Point to host free trainings on prevention of overdoses through the use of NARCAN nasal spray. These trainings are being offered according to the following schedule and locations:
FREE One Hour Training in A class is offered every month: 6pm – 7pm Monday May 9 - General Schuyler EMS, Schuylerville Monday May 23 - Franklin Community Center, Saratoga Springs Monday June 13 - Moreau Community Center, South Glens Falls Monday June 27 - Vischer Ferry Fire Station 1, Clifton Park Wednesday July 13 - Hadley Town Hall Monday July 25 - Harmony Corners Community Center Monday August 8 – Galway Public Library Monday August 22 - Wilton Fire Department Monday September 12 - Clifton Park Public Library Monday September 26 - Stillwater Public Library Monday October 10 - Waterford Town Hall Monday October 24 - Malta Community Center Monday November 14 - SUNY Adirondack Wilton Campus Monday December 12 - First Presbyterian Church, Ballston Spa
This is an extremely important and life-saving training that everyone should attend.
Registration is requested but not required to attend this training! (All training sessions are alike, so you only need to attend one!)
